Bum.

I'm such a bum! I didn't actually start recording my TTMIK video until today >.< BUT! My sister and I decided to start a YouTube beauty channel, and we recorded a hair tutorial and a makeup tutorial today! AND, I recorded all the parts for the obnoxious, girly character in my skit '가인' with my super curly hair and my makeup done. Tomorrow I'll probably film the male part, and then on Friday I'll straighten my hair and finish the video. Unfortunately, since I'll be at my dad's house the whole weekend I won't be able to start editing the video until Sunday night T_T Which means.... (drumroll please) TTMIK SKIT ON MONDAY! Whoooo! I can't wait to see the finished product! This time it's pretty extensive, I change characters quite a bit more and the scenery changes as well ^^ And now... it's time for a little bit of Dungeon Fighter and then

YOGA X... D: D: D: D: D: D: D:

Can't wait for my video to come out </3

Talk To Me In Korean

TTMIK is my number one source to go to when learning Korean. The lessons are short, easy to follow, and quite entertaining. All of the teachers do a fantastic job with upkeep and interaction with their students, and I love their video homework! I've only posted one reply to a video homework, which saddens me. But I don't want to just repeat the phrases in front of a camera, because I most likely won't remember them! For me, creating a cute skit is the perfect way to learn phrases. So, tomorrow I'll be filming/editing my new TTMIK Practice Video!

What I'll do is combine all of the practices into ONE video, but different scenes with the same characters. Last time, all I did to switch characters was draw a mustache on my finger and hold it above my lip. This time, I'm going full out. I'm going to draw on a beard, mustache, and a unibrow. I'm going to do my makeup outrageous, wear pink clothes and have my hair in a ponytail that's just way too high. And then I'm going to be me; relaxed, chill, going with the flow.

I'm so excited to film this, especially because I have an outrageous amount of time on my hands since it's summer vacation!

That's all for now, I apologize for the short post... but I have to go help my mom with dinner. Maybe my next post will be in Korean? Probably not, but I might tell you a website I love to use to help me perfect my grammar.

Salut. 안녕. Hi.

Bonjour!

Hello everyone! I am Ashleigh; I'm American, and I'm fifteen years old. I'm currently studying two languages: French and Korean. I have more concentration and inspiration to learn Korean, because I'm doing it on my own (self-study). I take French language classes in school, but the school year is over which means my French skills are going to get worse and my Korean gets better!

I don't have many Korean friends to talk with, so my pronunciation skills and my conversational skills may be lacking a little bit. I hope to go to South Korea next school year to study abroad and improve my language skills.

I will be making various different blog posts about my language learning experiences, and the resources I use. Hopefully, they will be of use to a few people.

If you have any questions please send me an e-mail or contact me through YouTube! Thank you <3
